Service"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Services of waste management range from waste collection and disposal, public cleansing to advisory services.<\/p>\n<p>Services are either rendered directly or outsourced to private service providers through a franchise agreement or direct contract where the WMA pay for the service rendered.<\/p>\n<p>Statutory services provided by the department include waste collection from public places such as markets, lorry stations, and public open spaces.<\/p>\n<p>The following services are also available on request:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Solid Waste Collection Services<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Subscription to solid waste services is mandatory to all owners and occupiers of all types of premises (domestic, industrial, institutions etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Prospective service beneficiaries are required to register with only WMA accredited service providers in their respective communities for solid waste services.<\/p>\n<p>It is illegal to subscribe to services of unaccredited service providers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Cleansing Services<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cleaning of streets, pavements and kerbs<\/p>\n<p>Cleaning of public open spaces<\/p>\n<p>Cleaning of public places such as markets and lorry parks<\/p>\n<p>Cleaning of drains<\/p>\n<p>These services are available to private property owners or establishments on demand<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Special Waste Collection Services<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Evacuation of Clinical waste<\/p>\n<p>Cleaning and Evacuation of toxic waste<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Advisory Service<\/span>s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Development of waste management plans for real estate developers, commercial properties and industrial establishments<\/p>\n<p>Preparation of RFPs for procurement of waste management services by private entities<\/p>\n<p>Evaluation of proposals for waste management services<\/p>\n<p>These services are available to private property owner or establishments on demand<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Liquid Waste Management Services<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desludging of septic tanks<\/p>\n<p>Desilting of septic tanks<\/p>\n<p>Construction of household toilets<\/p>\n<p>Connection to Metropolitan sewerage network<\/p>\n<p>Design and construction of toilet facilities<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Note: Standard service charges are published annually in the WMA Fee Fixing Resolution<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>contacts:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Services of waste management range from waste collection and disposal, public cleansing to advisory services.
