{"id":1222,"date":"2020-06-27T05:49:37","date_gmt":"2020-06-27T05:49:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wma.gov.gh\/?p=1222"},"modified":"2020-10-22T05:51:23","modified_gmt":"2020-10-22T05:51:23","slug":"start-ups-entrepreneurs-in-wenchi-trained-under-neip-government-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wma.gov.gh\/index.php\/start-ups-entrepreneurs-in-wenchi-trained-under-neip-government-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"START-UPs, ENTREPRENEURS IN WENCHI TRAINED UNDER NEIP GOVERNMENT INITIATIVE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"background: white; margin: 4.5pt 0in 4.5pt 0in;\"><span style=\"color: #1c1e21;\">A training workshop on business development and entrepreneurship has been held for start-ups and entrepreneurs in Wenchi and its environs as part of government&#8217;s initiative to strengthen the private sector and enhance economic standards of the people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 4.5pt 0in 4.5pt 0in;\"><span style=\"color: #1c1e21;\">The day workshop held on Monday 22nd June, 2020, was aimed at impacting knowledge and equipping entrepreneurs and start-ups with the requisite self-employed and busine<span class=\"textexposedshow\">ss expansion skills for economic self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 0in 0in 4.5pt 0in;\"><span style=\"color: #1c1e21;\">The well attended event was under the initiative of the National Entrepreneurship &amp; Innovation Programme (NEIP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Business Development as well as the Wenchi Municipal Assembly under the supervision of Office of the President &#8211; Jubilee House.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 4.5pt 0in 4.5pt 0in;\"><span style=\"color: #1c1e21;\">Opening the workshop, the Municipal Coordinating Director Edward Abazing, on behalf of the MCE underscored the critical roles the private sector plays in the development of the country, for which reason the government aimed at empowering the citizens to be self sufficient.
