\"\"The Wenchi Municipal Assembly has held stakeholders engagement with traders and business operators at the Old Main Station, specifically from the Exit Point of the Station along the Manaagye Street.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The L-shaped 2-Storey is a Public Private Partnership arrangement between the Assembly and Private Developers. The opportunity has been opened to the general public and all Private Investors and Development Partners to enter into agreement with Assembly for Public Private Partnership.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This is the second new Lockable Market Store Project being initiated by the Municipal Chief Executive Hon Alexander Obour Damoah in promoting Local Economic Development by investing in key market infrastructural projects.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The meeting was to amongst others interact with the Project Affected Persons and traders at the Area on the intended Project. It was also to discuss the modalities of relocation to give way for the construction of the Project. As such, the Assembly has made the New (Thursday) Market available for all affected persons. On the other hand, the affected persons have been asked to start looking for places of their choice for relocation. The Assembly would facilitate and bear the cost of the Permit on the temporal Structures for the affected traders.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The affected traders welcomed the MCE’s initiative for the construction of the Market Stores to boost business activities in the Municipality.<\/div>\n
