The Ministry of Local Government Decentralisation and Rural Development approved the execution of the evacuation exercise to enable clearance of the refuse dumps by the Zoom Lion Ghana Limited.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">During an inspection tour to the sites, the Municipal Chief Executive Hon Alexander Obour Damoah reiterated the Assembly&#8217;s resolve to addressing sanitation challenges and promote good health and wellbeing in the Municipality. He observed that the over 3 decade old refuse heaps had hindered the development extension and expansion of the communities due to the strategic locations of the refuse and the stench churned out, posing high health risks to the people.
