The outgoing Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD) for the Wenchi Municipal Assembly, Mr. Akaditi Ayembire, has officially handed over the administration to the incoming MCD, Mr. Jimah Yakubu on Friday,26th July 2024. He urged the entire staff to support the new MCD as he takes on his role following an official repost to the Bono Region.
This transfer is a routine part of the Local Government Service’s efforts to periodically reassign seasoned Coordinating Directors and Administrative Staff among the Assemblies to promote ongoing effective and efficient governance.
Mr. Akaditi Ayembire, who assumed leadership of the Wenchi Municipal Assembly from Mr. N.K Douglas Annoful in June 2023, is known for his pleasant demeanor, attentive listening, and action-oriented approach. He is a team player and leader committed to the successful implementation of all programs.
During a meeting with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Alexander Obour Damoah, the incoming MCD Jimah Yakubu, and Heads of Departments and Units. Mr. Akaditi expressed his gratitude to the MCE and staff, offering his farewell and best wishes to everyone in recognition of their support and cooperation.
In his farewell address to the staff, Mr. Akaditi Ayembire said, “I am delighted to introduce Mr. Jimah Yakubu to this esteemed Staff. I am grateful for your substantial support and cooperation, which contributed to the peaceful office environment and the many achievements under our MCE, Hon Alexander Obour Damoah. I encourage you to extend the same support to the incoming Director to ensure even greater success for the Assembly and Wenchi at large. Thank you all immensely. May God bless us all.”
The staff warmly received the message, responding with an outpouring of praise and good wishes.
