On Wednesday, April 6, 2022. The Bono regional minister paid a working visit to Wenchi Municipality and was received by the venerable Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Alexander O. Damoah and the Management of Wenchi Municipal Assembly.
They begun with a closed door Municipal Security Council Meeting to strengthen the peace and stability in Wenchi and the region at large and a Staff Durbar to interact with staff.
The MCE led the Regional minister and her entourage to pay a visit to Wenchi Traditional Council and Queen Mother of Wenchi where they commended the regional minister and tabled concerns of Wenchiman before her which she gave her word to pursue.
The Visits was Climaxed with:
- VIsit to ongoing Wenchi Town Roads which the Contractor Promised the Minister that it will receive Bitumen Surfacing by 6th May, 2022.
- Wenchi Sports Complex/Stadium. She inspected works and urged the contractors to Fast track their work since it has unduly delayed.
- Droboso – Badu Road: The Contractor had been off site and she promised to follow up with the MCE to see work resumes earnestly.
- Finally to the Ultramordern Koase SHS: The team Inspected the Work which is about 90% Completed with 6 projects fully completed and handed over to the school with the remaining 2 at 90% completion.
