The Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) has paid a working visit to the Council of Chiefs and Elders of Subinso No.2 Community in the Wenchi Municipality.The visit was mainly to interact with the Chiefs on the operation dynamics of the Subinso No. 2 Market to help improve revenue generation and mobilisation for development.
The visit was also to inspect the extension and expansion works particularly the new site to expand the Yam Market and create more space for reserves so as to boost business activities.
The visit was also meant to interact with the Yam Sellers to help address concerns and challenges they might be facing which could impede revenue generation.
The Security Council interacted with the Chief of Subinso No.2 Osabarima Nango Panto II and his council of sub-chiefs and Elders.
The Security Council again interacted with the Executives of the Yam Sellers, Market Women and Traders Association led by the Wenchi Market Queen Hon Nana Bee Bodom in the company of other Market Queens.
The Team toured and inspected a new shed that was constructed and the new site earmarked by the local authority of the area for the extension works of the Market to enable. The inspection was to help the Security Council and the Assembly make informed decision to improve the economic activities of the area.
The MUSEC was led by the Divisional Police Commander Chief Superintendent Boakye Ansah and the Municipal Coordinating Director Douglas N.K Annoful (Secretary) representing the Chairman MCE Alexander Kwadwo Obour Damoah.
