BRCC ORGANISED 2-DAYS ORIENTATION WORKSHOP FOR NEWLY RECRUITED STAFFS FROM 2019-TO-2023.

An Orientation Workshop has been held for newly recruited Staffs of the Local Government Service who were employed from 2019-t0-2022.
The two-days Training Programme was organised by the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (BRCC) in collaboration with the Municipal and District Assemblies, aimed at equipping the staff with the requisite knowledge, professional skills and expertise in their respective fields and duties of endeavour. The programme was also meant to school the Staff on the Code of Conduct and the Core Values of the Local Government Service in order to render quality service with diligence and best standard practice to achieve the expected goals of the local Government Service.
The Workshop was for Staffs of Departments and Units from Wenchi Municipal Assembly, Tain District, and Banda District Assemblies.
The Training covered wide range of Modules such as Leadership & Political Environment, Administrative Writing, Decentralisation & related Legislation, Local Government Service Protocols, Structure of the Local Government & Reporting System, Executive Grooming.
The Resource Persons and Facilitators for the programme from the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (BRCC) led the Orientation programme in different modules with a unanimous call on the staff to abreast themselves with the Code of Conduct of the Service and demonstrate professionalism in their fields of work. The Chief Director of the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (BRCC) Andrews Okumah Nawil took the staff through Leadership & Political Environment with a call on staff to demonstrate exemplary leadership that would carry along their followers. A Deputy Director at the BRCC Alexander Bae-Yeboah took the Staff through Decentralisation & related Legislation as well as Administrative Writing of Memorandum and Reports. A Coordinating Director at the BRCC Emmanuel Amwanchimbey took the staff through the Local Government Service Structure and Reporting System. The Senior Human Resource (HR) Manager at the RCC Akua Gyekyewaa Antwi took the staff through Performance Management System/Performance Contract & Local Government Service Protocols which comprise Promotions, Upgrading, Interviews and general Staff Welfare. An Assistant Director 1 also at the Regional Coordinating Council Theresa Adjei-Mensah handled a Module called Executive Grooming which involved prescribed Dress Code for Public Sector Workers.
