BUDGET MONITORING TEAM HOLDS MEETING WITH CONCERNED DEPARTMENTS/UNITS OF THE ASSEMBLY

The Monitoring Team from the Ministry of Finance together with selected Local Government Institutions in partnership with the Regional Coordinating Councils (RCC) has carried out monitoring on the implementation of the Composite Budget of the Assembly.
The Monitoring Team comprised of the Head of Fiscal Decentralisation Unit (FDU) of the Ministry of Finance Ms Akua Aniwaa Owusu Asamoah, Regional Budget Analyst Joshua Mireku and a Budget Analyst Zoltan Twum Barima at the Bono Regional Coordinating Council (BRCC).
The Team Leader Ms. Akua Aniwaa Owusu Asamoah rouge who addressed the Heads and staff of concerned Departments and Units at the meeting noted that the interaction would help streamline and sanitize the system and improve the standards.
The monitoring exercise
 was part of the working visit of the Team to interact with the selected Local Government Institutions concerned and discuss challenges which might impede successful implementation of the Composite Budget and suggested technical solutions to resolve them.
The visit was mainly to monitor and assess the progress of Composite Budget Implementation for 2022 and first quarter of 2023.
