The Municipal Chief Executive has visited institutions, Departments and corporate Organisations in the Wenchi Municipality.
The visit forms part of efforts and opportunity to inspect and assess the state and conditions of government organisations and interact with Management and Staff.
In an interaction with staff of the organizations, the Municipal Chief Executive charged them to continually demonstrate professionalism, commitment in their work to ensure quality service delivery. He emphasised that development is measured by patronage and service excellence being enjoyed by the public. He advised organisations to do periodic introspection for quality assurance of effective and efficient mandate delivery so as to serve the people well. Hon Obour Damoah called for maximum cooperation and advised staff against lackadaisical attitude to work and all other negative tendencies that can mar quality service delivery in order to maintain good corporate governance.


The Municipal Director for Agric/MoFA Victor Yao Dablu briefed the MCE on some routine activities of the Agric Extension Agents/Officers and made some appeals such as a call for full utilisation of the Branam State Farms project, motorbikes for extension services, increment of some award categories to cover more farmers during Farmers’ Day Celebration, sanitation at the slaughter house.
The District Manager for DVLA Frank Kwabena Adu and Administrator Evans Osei called for stronger collaboration and cooperation between the Organization and the Municipal Assembly. The MCE and team were conducted round the offices of the DVLA to inspect its operations.

The Municipal Director for Health Service Robert Kwaku Bio together with staff raised concerns such as encroachment on lands for Wenchi Health Centre and Subinso No:2 Polyclinic, residential accommodation for health workers, expansion of facilities for Wenchi Health Centre, shortage of mental health drugs.
Management and staff of the Departments visited assured the Chief Executive of their commitment to give off their best.
